Had my first fat bike ride today and I was blown away. I only went on a small, local flat circuit but it corners amazing. The tyres unsurprisingly has masses of traction, you can just keep on pushing the bike through the corners. Drop it into a low gear and it will ride through everything!
Ok, not quite everything but a lot more than my 29er. Bearing in mind it has rained for what it seems like 2 months, the south of England is under and the monster tyres to keep ploughing through the mud. Providing you can keep the pedals turning, the bike will make short work of what is in its path. It is quite nimble to, a nice light front end helps it to roll through obstacles.
All in all, a good fun bike. Now to get some serious training underway and pray for snow…!
